The Media can't help itself, first it was Sexism and Ageism, now it's Alaskism

Whenever I overhear Keith Olbermann and his protege Rachel Maddow speak, I am reminded of Snidely Whiplash from the Dudley Do Right Cartoon and Natasha from the Rocky and Squirrel cartoon. Unfortunately, Snidely Whiplash and Natasha were the bad guys. The same can be said about K.O. and R.M. as they calmly tell us how misguided we are if we believe that Sarah Palin is Vice Presidential material.

I've begun to notice a "pattern" among the liberal media this year. First it was sexism and ageism against the Hillary Clinton campaign, then it was ageism against John McCain, now it is Alaskism against Sarah Palin, all emanating from the LIBERAL MEDIA.

Alaskism means the ridiculing of people from another part of the world where it's cold and dark, a lot. Alaskism's come in many forms. Examples include ridiculing people from Alaska for having tanning beds. Superimposing a bikini clad body under the face of the vice presidential candidate is another way to for the liberal media to Alaskism their way merrily along.

Cuddling up with a loved one in cold, cold, Alaska is a no no according to the puritanical liberal media. If cuddling leads to more intimacy which results in a pregnancy, the liberal media will ridicule that. If the cuddlers have had a "secret" abortion, the liberal media will find out and throw it in their faces.

If the cuddlers have the child, the liberal media will throw that in their face as well for having premarital sex. If the cuddlers have a kid and it has downs syndrome, they'll first blame Sarah Palin for improper pre natal care, then when there is an uproar over that insinuation, the liberal media will claim they dropped the story because of the lack of civility from conservatives responding to the story. (Just ask Alan Colmes). It's as if the liberal media thinks they own the topic of sex and can use it at will to ridicule conservatives.

I just don't understand how liberal media types that live in the continental United States feel entitled to judge our Alaskan neighbors with such arrogance and mockery. Imagine what it must be like that whenever you go outside, you are probably bundled up in several extra layers of clothing. Every single time you go outside, you are wearing twice the clothing, go back inside, unbundle. Bundle, unbundle, all day long. The Great Plains states and surrounding areas have very cold winters as well, I just find it odd for the liberal media to so freely and easily ridicule anybody that lives through months upon months of cold weather.

Hey, lets make fun of moose meat, tanning beds, roads to nowhere, or being mayor of a less densely populated region of the planet. We'd better never inhabit the moon or surely the liberal media would ridicule a place that would be even less populated than Alaska. I could see the liberal media about now, "You were mayor on the moon, HA, you governed less than a hundred people, big whoop." That's about how ignorant Keith Olbermann and Rachel Maddow sound to me these days.

Here's an idea for the liberal media, don't use your pampered lifestyle in posh, comfortable surroundings to judge people who live in cold, dark, places and have more struggles in a single day than you do in a year.

Being liberal this year means throwing everything against a wall and hyping anything that will momentarily stick. Ironically, many Alaskans make their living using that same approach. The difference is Alaskans don't go around judging the rest of us, too bad the liberal media can't do the same as they smugly judge people who live in less densely populated, harsher conditions than themselves.

I can't stand the 2008 liberal media and the only hope we have is to defeat Barack Obama and cleanse the D.N.C. and MSNBC so I can go back to the party that I used to be a staunch support of, the democratic party.

The Creepiness of the Barack Obama Campaign Cult Team Revealed Many Times Over.

First John McCain was ridiculed for not using email, then Sarah Palin's email was hacked. I find it creepy that Barack Obama's side first criticized John McCain for not using email and then shortly thereafter, Sarah Palin's emails are hacked. It's as if the Barack Obama side was saying "how dare John McCain not be hackable because he doesn't use email, we were all set to find something and then release it to the media".

Is it just coincidence that shortly after the Barack Obama camp ridiculed a war hero with a bad arm for not using email that his Vice President's email is hacked?

But wait, there's more.

Barack Obama just held a fundraiser in Hollywood. Price per ticket, 28,500 dollars, Price per pair of tickets, 57 thousand dollars, as in 57 states and Barack Obama's faux pas when he said there were 57 states....

But wait, there's more. When did Barack Obama announce his VP choice, it was at 3:00 am, a direct attack against the 3am ads that Hillary Clinton ran so effectively against Barack Obama in the 2008 democratic race. Yet Hillary Clinton better support Barack Obama or the media will gang up on her.

But wait, there's still more. Right after Hillary Clinton was FORCED into giving a suspension speech by the D.N.C. and the media, the VERY FIRST COMMERCIAL THAT MSNBC RAN after Hillary Clinton's suspenion speech was a commercial promoting the state of Michigan! You know, Michigan, the state that Barack Obama refused to either count or have a revote when it might have mattered.

In my opinion these inside jokes are the work of arrogant, snarky, "better than you", "smarter than you" henchmen and henchwomen that reside deep inside the bowels of the Barack Obama campaign team. They bubble over with a revenge mentality that cannot stand being one upped, ever! The Barack Obama campaign crew represents the perfect blend of Pit Bull and Yorkshire Terrier, the problem is they pretend to be the friendly, caring puppy dog campaign that just wants everybody to get along.

The Comedy of Sarah Palin and how she got Barack Obama's Goat.

If there was one thing John McCain could do to dig a burr into the Barack Obama camp's backside, it was to select Sarah Palin as his V.P.

What I find so comical is Sarah Palin is to Barack Obama exactly what Barack Obama was to Hillary Clinton during the 2008 democratic contest. Not only are the parallels a giggle to nowhere, witnessing Barack Obama's reaction to Sarah Palin enter the race has been very enlightening.

Several months back Pastor Michael Pfleger mockingly spoke of Hillary Clinton as feeling "entitled" to the Democratic nomination (click on link to see video) Pastor Pfegler Mocks Hillary Clinton. The Pfegler line many may never forget was... "there's a black man stealing my show.'' Did you ever imagine that that very video would boomerang against Barack Obama several months later?

If you watch this youtube video of Pfegler ridiculing Hillary Clinton, Pastor Pfegler Mocks Hillary Clinton, just imagine it's a new video that a Pfegler clone has released in which he ridicules Barack Obama's reaction to Sarah Palin. ..."There was Barack Obama, the chosen one, heading for the presidency, and suddenly there's this Hootchy Hockey Mama from Alaska, and she's stealing my show"....

(by the way, you youtube wannabe's, ahem, hint hint).

The arrogant and condescending reaction to Sarah Palin that Barack Obama and his side is demonstrating towards Palin is exactly how both Barack Obama and Pastor Pfegler treated Hillary Clinton earlier this year. While this ironic joke is now playing out against Barack Obama, the bigger joke is, Barack Obama and his followers still don't get it. The audacity of arrogance and lack of fair reflection that helped Barack Obama "win" against Hillary Clinton now blocks his path towards the White House.

How can I want a group in power that is so proud of themselves they don't get it when they receive the same condescending medicine that they normally are doling out?

Dare I even bring up the whole dying thing as well? Jack Cafferty of CNN stated several months ago that Hillary Clinton should get out of the race over the Kennedy Assassination comment she made, yet we constantly are now reminded that John McCain could pass on, even as we see his 96 year old mother cheering him on.

It's Ok to talk about McCain passing on, but not Barack Obama? According to the Barack Obama camp, yes.

All of this has me wondering just who started putting lipstick on a pig, first?

Donna Brazille embraces the role of Slave Master.

(Updated Nov. 3, 2017 to fix link and formatting.)

I found this article on the TaylorMarsh Archives.

Here are two Donna Brazile quotes that I find amazing.

DB: "I defended the Clintons and it was Black people who kept their asses in office."

and

DB: "Blacks have been deeply wounded by the duplicity of the Clintons. Now, you may not like it or agree. But as a black person who helped saved the Clinton presidency, please just respect what I am saying. [emphasis added] Again, you disagree. But, I honestly believe the wounds will not heal. It’s personal and the Clintons have shown their darker demons." [emphasis added]

Wow Oh Wow, does Donna Brazile live inside her head and her head only, or is she just insane? This type of attitude and hostility is EXACTLY WHY REPARATIONS are an INSULT to ALL AMERICANS. Donna Brazile believes she OWNS the Clintons because she "saved them".

The people that are the angriest about slavery now are probably the same people who would have been slave owners if the situation had been reversed, with one big difference, they would have advocated the destruction of anyone who would have been for reparations. I don't advocate Donna Brazile's destruction, but I do pity the fool.

Donna Brazile wants to be head of the D.N.C., can there be a bigger reason to not support the D.N.C. than Donna Brazile?

Donna Brazile is for Obama

guest post by Masslib

For the last several months it’s been pretty obvious to anyone who watches CNN, that "neutral" commentator Donna Brazile actually harbors anti-Hillary feelings, if not an outright preference for Obama. CNN decided to bench pundit James Carville because of his pro-Clinton bias. Maybe CNN doesn’t yet believe that Brazile has taken sides. Bothered by her obvious bias, last month I began an e-mail correspondence with Brazile to express my disappointment in her as a DNC leader. I share some of what she wrote back to me below. If CNN doesn’t pull the plug on her after they read this, then Saturday Night Live was right when they said CNN was in the tank for Obama.

I’m making these e-mails public not just because I don’t want to see her on CNN, but because with rumors afoot of her aspirations to be DNC Chair if Obama becomes the nominee, I think it’s important that Democrats see what they would be in for. While I appreciate her willingness to correspond with me, what you can see in these excerpts is an individual who doesn’t have the political savvy to communicate with the public (keep in mind I was an anonymous stranger when she wrote to me) in an appropriate and pro-Party fashion. You can see that she has no problem creating inferences that Hillary Clinton is a racist. You can see that she feels she has no responsibility to stand up against sexism. And you can see most shockingly that she resents Democrats for leaving her out in the cold since managing Al Gore’s losing 2000 campaign, finding the highest praise not for those in the Party she aspires to lead, but for Republicans. Without further ado, here are some choice excerpts from our exchange. (view emails in their entirety here). Draw your own conclusions.

Me: I am very disappointed in you. I saw you at the State of the Black Union, and not once did you speak out against a number of sexist and divisive comments about Hillary. I understand the desire to see an African American President. I share that desire. I just don't find Senator Obama, with his limited resume, and few public accomplishments (i.e. accomplishments for the people, not personal accomplishments like book writing) to have the resume for President, at this point. I think Hillary is correct to point to her strong resume, and that isn't racist.

Donna Brazile(DB): I am very sorry that you tuned into my life just three weeks ago and not the 40 years I have engaged politics on a very personal level. Just be up to date in your criticism and go back and read my columns, see my interviews and then walk a moment in the shoes of someone who calls it like it is.

ME: I'm young, but I have been watching you for eight years. You can not possibly think I just tuned in three weeks ago. That's why I expect more from you. You are one of the most prominent female voices of the Democratic Party. Emotions are running high, and the media is just loving to play up the fissures in the Party.

DB: Please don't lecture me about the isms in America . You cannot blame the media for Clinton being behind or running out of money. It's the strategy stupid... And I for one have gotten down right tired of the lame excuses. When many of us beat the heck out of Obama last year, we were not called racists.

ME: I don't expect you to watch the sexism. I was hoping for a more fair reading from you. I think it's loopy to think Hillary has run a racist campaign. Really loopy. Again, the 3am ad, winning NH??? These are not signs of racism. If you respect a candidate, you run against them on the merits, which Hillary has done.

DB: Just ask Hillary why is she apologizing to Black folks at every turn. And now Obama has to denounce his pastor.

ME: She doesn't have to. She just is because she doesn't want anyone to feel alienated or offended. I can not believe that's what you really see. How sad.

DB: I defended the Clintons and it was Black people who kept their asses in office. Now, show respect and not indifference or worse insularity and more insults. I am not checking my black or feminist credentials into the locker box for either candidate.

ME: Let's agree on some things. I have never walked a mile in your shoes. I am outraged by the continued institutional racism in our justice system, in our educational system, in our society. We are not at odds here. As far as McCain goes, I dislike him, and his extremist supporters. I do think that if you believe Hillary Clinton is a racist or has employed a racist campaign strategy, you are overreaching to the extreme.

DB: She’s the one apologizing to Black folks. Not me. Not You. She is the one saying I regret. Not me. Not you.

ME: Yes, because she doesn't want any one to be offended. She's a buck stops here person. I think that's an admirable quality.

DB: Blacks have been deeply wounded by the duplicity of the Clintons . Now, you may not like it or agree. But as a black person who helped saved the Clinton presidency, please just respect what I am saying. [emphasis added] Again, you disagree. But, I honestly believe the wounds will not heal. It’s personal and the Clintons have shown their darker demons. [emphasis added] Now, I will end it here. I was Al Gore’s Campaign Manager. Let the buck stop here. If I make a decision to go with Obama, people read it as Al Gore hates the Clintons. So, I stay above the bull and do not take bull from the Clintons or the Obamas or the McCains. I don’t owe anybody a dime. And if I counted who has helped me since 2000, it's Republican men and not Democrats.

Go figure and good night.

--------------------------end of quote.

The above email interview comes from a posting on Taylor Marsh's Website. It seems to me that what happened was, Donna Brazille ran a losing campaign for Al Gore and was somewhat shunned by her fellow democrats. Apparently some republicans were more supportive than the democrats.

What Brazille doesn't get is that Bill Clinton has been the only two term Democrat since World War II. It would seem to me that the winning democratic family of the 90's should have more influence than a presidential adviser / loser of the 2000 presidential race who shunned the Clinton's support.
