MSNBC Afraid to Fire Keith Olbermann?

It just dawned on me that as annoying as Keith Olbermann has become, the idea of paying the guy to do nothing must really irk MSNBC moreso than firing him. It's too bad MSNBC didn't just remain neutral in this years democratic race.

If MSNBC had remained neutral in this years democratic race, Hillary Clinton would have won an incredibly close contest. Barack Obama would be a rising star within the democratic party with the potential of being a 2 term VP and then a 2 term President. The just completed Denver Convention could have been a combo love in of epic proportions and a tribute to the 90's as well, and an incredible ratings success.

I think MSNBC might be realizing all that they have lost by influencing the democratic nomination process. The ability of Olbermann to counteract the right has been lost amidst ridiculously amped up umbarging against the Clinton camp throughout the campaign. Even Olbermann's taunts against Bill O'Reilly fall flat as whenever I tune into O'Reilly (and I never used to until Keith started reminding me to), O'Reilly is calm, cool, and collected, something Olbermann hasn't been in months.

Just How Daft and Idiotic has the Democratic Party become?

Hillary and Bill Clinton were put on display at the democratic convention on Tuesday and Wednesday. Forced into faux smiles on by a democratic party that demanded "unity or impunity".

I had no idea how evil the higher ups of the D.N.C. have become. If any group ever needed an enema, it is the head of the D.N.C.

In the meantime, lets remember what this is about. It's about slapping a political family in the face that had the best democratic record in the past 50 years in terms of longevity and success. Rather than pursuing delegates hidden away like an easter egg hunt in caucus land, the Hillary Clinton candidacy is about reaching out to the MOST people in the country, but apparently the concept of reaching the most people has been "changed" into one of reaching the "most important" people, aka the caucus delegates.

The most successful democratic family of the past 50 years stood patiently by and let two other democratic candidates have their chance at winning the white house in 2000 and 2004. Only when Hillary Clinton had gained additional senatorial experience to go along with her two decades of being part of Bill Clinton's legacy did Hillary Clinton attempt her run for president.

The D.N.C. instead sent the message to 17 million loyal democrats that once a politician steps out of power, they become a footnote and meaningless, even when they played team politics before they attempted their run for the nomination. I'm not sure this type of change will fly with Clinton Democrats, nor should it.

My Response to Politico.com and their "Whiny Babies" Slam Headline against Hillary Clinton.

Quote from (Roger Simon) article...

"The Clinton campaign had nobody on the payroll to call superdelegates in March 2007. People didn't know about superdelegates, a high-ranking Clinton staff member said. Nobody figured it out. They thought it was all about winning states and not delegates."

If Barack Obama was doing such a better job at calling and getting super delegates, how come Hillary Clinton had over a one hundred super delegate lead at the beginning of the race? How can we trust your journalistic intelligence in deciding what quotes to use and therefore validate, and what quotes not to use, when you use questionable quotes in your articles?

Just because a "staffer" says it, doesn't make it an accurate statement, but you quote and cite statistically inaccurate comments about super delegates as fact. There is also no mention made of "donations" made to some of these super delegates (and pledged delegates) by the Barack Obama camp, especially the ones that changed their vote to Barack Obama even though Hillary Clinton won their congressional district or state.

Quote from the article...

We were the earliest to staff up and open offices there, and the first six states we staffed were caucus states. That was a strategic decision. The Obama campaign liked caucus states, which place a high value on organization."

This is another amazingly misleading quote. We can interpret the above quote to mean, "Why try and earn more votes from the masses when we can get a better overall deal from the caucuses and the much lower voter turnout? For you to complement this caucus strategy as being "superior" to Hillary Clinton's method of going for the most overall voters is why there is a disconnect between Barack Obama and 30% of the Clinton voters.

The Barack Obama camp placed high value on the caucus states because the risk reward was in their favor. Caucuses produce lower voter turnout percentages that are as much as 88% lower than the primaries. Translation, it is easier to win a disproportionate amount of delegates in the caucus states than it is in the primaries because of the volatility of lower numbers of voters.

Did you consider that some people aren't impressed by "Amazing Race" and "Survivor" style of politicking? Guess what, some of us actually like and respect a candidate that wants to win as many votes as possible while staying on message, aka Hillary Clinton.

Quote from the article...

"The Obama campaign, it should be pointed out, did not actually foresee the future; it merely prepared for it."

When Hillary Clinton was leading in the super delegate race by over a hundred delegates, Dan Abrams of MSNBC floated out the idea that super delegates shouldn't decide the race. So on the one hand, Barack Obama's camp did not forsee the future, yet the media still made the case that it would be unfair if Hillary Clinton won the race via the super delegate vote, she could not win via Florida and Michigan because she agreed not to count them, and you seem intent on saying Clinton blew it in the caucus states and that 1.1 million voters supercede the results of over 35 million voters. Hillary Clinton actually won MORE pledged delegates from all the primary states, even when Florida and Michigan are not counted! Claiming that Hillary Clinton ran a poor race is silly when she actually won more pledged delegates than Barack Obama did from the primary states (even when Florida and Michigan are not counted).

Someone at Politico.com chose to come up with the "Whiny Babies" headline. which camouflages what your article is about. Your article makes a case for winning the democratic battle even if it weakens the case for winning the Presidential war. It is YOUR OPINION that winning the democratic battle even if it weakens the chances of winning the presidential war is a superior campaign plan. 30% of Hillary Clinton supporters wholeheartedly disagree that winning the battle matters more than winning the war.

Ever heard of "Fair Reflection"?

Don't be surprised if Barack Obama wins the democratic battle but loses the presidential war...and don't blame Hillary Clinton supporters if Barack Obama loses this fall when all Hillary Clinton supporters wanted to win was the candidate that ran a more straight forward campaign, something that you seem to think of as being old school.

Barack Obama's side has been clever, and they may have even crossed the line legality in the caucus states. Being clever at the expense of 18 million voters makes me wonder just how clever Barack Obama really was.

Quote from the article...

"Some caucus states were outside of Hillary’s political orbit. They were in the West, the Great Plains, the Rocky Mountains. Hillary’s strength tended to be more East Coast and West Coast.”

I can't even fathom how to respond to such an absurd comment. Hillary Clinton won contiguous states that touch each other all the way across the country from the South Western coast (California) all the way to the North Eastern coast (New York) including virtually ALL the swing states, plus Florida, Michigan and South Dakota. Barack Obama did not win contiguous states that span across the entire country, lol, because Hillary Clinton DID! Look at the map below.

"Some caucus states were outside of Hillary’s political orbit. They were in the West, the Great Plains, the Rocky Mountains. Hillary’s strength tended to be more East Coast and West Coast.”

Notice how Mr. Simon changes the topic from the real issue, which is that older folks have more built in responsibilities and some physical limitation and as a result can't travel as far or at a specific time of day, especially in the MIDDLE OF WINTER.

As you can see from the map, Hillary's popularity spanned across the entire country, not just east and west, as Mr. Simon implies. All of those great plains and Rocky Mountain caucus "victories" for Barack Obama had polls taken just prior to their caucuses and Hillary Clinton was either tied or leading against Barack Obama. Fair Reflection, what is Fair Reflection?

Twenty FACTS that PROVE Hillary Clinton should be the Presumptive Democratic Nominee, not Barack Obama.

20 FACTS that support (PROVE) Hillary Clinton should be the presumptive nominee.

FACT: Hillary Clinton won 7 of the 8 biggest states, and 8 out the 10 biggest states. in the country.

FACT: Hillary Clinton won 40 more pledged delegates than Barack Obama among all the primary contests even when Florida and Michigan are not counted..

FACT: Hillary Clinton was leading or tied in MOST of the caucus contests polls just prior to the vote, but lost to Barack Obama by a 2-1 margin in most of these caucuses.

FACT: Three Caucus contests that Barack Obama won by at least a 2-1 margin also held primaries at a later date and ALL showed a GAIN for Hillary Clinton of over 33% versus Barack Obama, thereby making the case for caucus cheating, or at the very least, lack of "Fair Reflection" in the caucus contests.

FACT:Texas is another example in which Hillary Clinton WON the popular vote, and then ONCE AGAIN lost the "two step" and "three step" caucuses BY A TWO to ONE margin!

FACT: During Election Night coverage, MSNBC REFUSED TO ACKNOWLEDGE on air that Hillary Clinton closed to within 2% in the Nebraska Primary after previously losing the Nebraska caucus by a laughably false margin of 37%. When the election night Nebraska Primary results graphic was temporarily up on the screen, Chris Matthews and company IGNORED IT EVERY TIME. The final time the Nebraska graphic was put on the screen, Matthews demanded the Nebraska graphic be taken down and replaced with the West Virginia result from that same night. Instead of talking about two momentum shifting Hillary Clinton successes in one night, MSNBC completely ignored talking about the Nebraska primary result and instead just focused on West Virginia and its "racist, lower income, uneducated base that favored Hillary Clinton".

FACT:Barack Obama picked up many of his super delegates during the time period when he was losing the popular vote and delegate count to Hillary Clinton 53% to 47%.

FACT:Hillary Clinton actually lost super delegates to Barack Obama even as she was winning the final 2 and 1/2 months of the contest both in popular vote and in pledged delegates.

FACT: Hillary Clinton won the Electoral College Map versus Barack Obama by over a hundred votes.

FACT: Hillary Clinton was routinely cheated out of Delegates, at one point beating Barack Obama in 11 out of 12 States but only gaining 5 more overall delegates than Barack Obama. (see image below)

FACT: Howard Dean and John Kerry were financed by Billionaire George Soros in 2004, Bob Richardson and John Edwards were supported by Billionaire George Soros in 2008, Soros has been working behind the scenes to ensure that Barack Obama be declared the democratic nominee irrespective of whether or not he actually won it fairly and squarely.

FACT: Nancy Pelosi was recently outed as giving five figure donations to delegates so they would switch their vote from Hillary Clinton to Barack Obama, even in states where Hillary Clinton had won the popular vote.

FACT: George Soros funded Arianna Huffington and Huffington Post, whose pundits would appear on MSNBC and CNN, plus Time and Newsweek, and tear down Hillary Clinton on a daily basis during the campaign season.

FACT: Media headlines demanded that Hillary Clinton suspend her campaign as far back as February, 2008. These headlines continued on a weekly basis until Hillary Clinton finally realized her political career would be ruined if she allowed the media harrassment to continue. To end the political harrassment, Hillary Clinton suspended her campaign. The media immediately proclaimed that Hillary Clinton had voluntarily suspended her campaign.

FACT: Never before has the media demanded that a candidate suspend a presidential campaign prior to the convention, until Hillary Clinton was the candidate.

FACT: Never before has a presidential candidate been pressured to release her delegates prior to a vote at the convention, until Hillary Clinton was the candidate.

FACT:Never before has the media called a presumptive nominee, in a race to close to call, the official nominee before the convention. I believe the networks have left themselves open for a huge lawsuit in this matter.

FACT: Barack Obama has less senatorial, governing, or security experience than any president in the past 120 years.

FACT: hundreds of delegates and super delegates changed their vote to Barack Obama after being for Hillary Clinton because they assumed they were supposed to vote for who might win, not who they wanted to win, because of media pressure.

FACT: Over a hundred Super Delegates and pledged delegates have switched their vote to Barack Obama even thought they thought Hillary Clinton was the better candidate and more likely to win in November against John McCain. (go ahead, ask them who they think is the better candidate)

FACT: A significant number of delegates and super delegates changed their vote to Barack Obama after receiving a "donation" from Barack Obama, even when their congressional district had voted for Hillary Clinton.

FACT: The number one comment about Keith Olbermann that I hear is either, "I used to like that guy", or "I can't believe I used to like that guy". (before Olbermann singlehandily verbally assaulted Clinton on so many occasions we all lost count, and stopped watching). Keith Olbermann looked right into the camera and lied one night when talking about "never having clamored to have Hillary Clinton quit the race".

HILLARY CLINTON EARNED the 2008 Democratic NOMINATION, that is all I can go by.

PUMA is just stage one. Stage TWO is, HILLARY CLINTON EARNED THE 2008 DEMOCRATIC NOMINATION. Barack Obama's trip to Europe is and probably will remain the biggest embarrassment of the 2008 presidential campaign.

Barack Obama's European trip, in which he strolled out onto stage in Germany and actually believed he was already president of the United States and further believed he had somehow earned the privilege of standing in front of so many people, is a gaffe only surpassed by his rushing by and ignoring soldiers standing at attention without taking a moment to speak to them or acknowledge them, all this happened on the same trip!

Hillary Clinton won 40 more congressional districts than Barack Obama. Hillary Clinton HANDILY won all the swing states. Barack Obama received INFLATED delegate totals from the Caucus States. Hillary Clinton received DEFLATED delegate counts from her swing state wins, netting only five more delegates than Barack Obama 555 to 550, even though Hillary Clinton won 11 out of 12 swing state and Barack Obama LOST those same 11 out of 12 swing state contests!

Media Bias orchestrated by George Soros, Huffington Post, MSNBC, CNN, Time and Newsweek had a hand in Barack Obama having a false delegate lead. Internal Political Bias by Howard Dean, who was backed by George Soros in 2004, and John Kerry, also backed by George Soros in 2004, show a bought Democratic party that must either CHANGE and do the right thing, or this slap in the face against long time democrats cannot be forgotten.

FAIR WARNING to Republicans about the Whitey Tape, RELEASE it BEFORE the Denver Convention if it EXISTS, or LOSE HILLARY CLINTON SUPPORTERS!

What I have heard is that the Whitey tape does exist and that the Republicans are waiting until October to release it.

If this is true, this is very disturbing to me. This would mean that the Republicans, rather than win the election by facing the strongest democratic candidate, chose to be sexist, ageist, AND racist by waiting until it was too late for Hillary Clinton to be reconsidered for the nomination before releasing the whitey tape.

I believe the Whitey Tape, assuming it exists and is released in October as planned, could backfire on the Republicans. I actually might reconsider and vote for Barack Obama if the Republicans wait to release a tape that would have helped Hillary Clinton if it had been released earlier.

Otherwise, I am rewarding the Republican party for helping to ruin Hillary Clinton's chance at this year's nomination by witholding important information until it could no longer help her this year.

FAIR WARNING TO REPUBLICANS, IF YOU HAVE A WHITEY TAPE, RELEASE IT BEFORE THE AUGUST DEMOCRATIC CONVENTION, or you may LOSE MY VOTE.

lol, Ralph Nader is looking better and better if Hillary does not get the nomination in Denver and the Republicans hold onto a whitey tape until October.

Irreparable Harm from the Germany Visit for Barack Obama, Lets Nominate Hillary Clinton.

I am having difficulty comprehending why it was important for Barack Obama to speak in front of a large audience in a foreign country. What was Barack thinking when he calmly walked up to the mike, looked out at the audience, and tried to wow them.

When one factors in that Barack Obama walked by soldiers in formation and ignored them, skipped meetings with wounded soldiers. and spent untold millions for this over the top photo shoot, there is no way I could ever bring myself to vote for him. I sincerely hope there is a Do Over in Denver and Hillary Clinton gets the nomination.

GEORGE SOROS vs HILLARY CLINTON, Lets not put links to George Soros Related Websites.

Media matters is actually an interesting think tank. However it is backed by George Soros, and that is a BIG Problem.

I think it is important to expose the evil George Soros on my various blogs because the majority of people backing Hillary Clinton know little about him. George Soros is the axis of evil that destroyed Hillary Clinton. George Soros, Move-ON.org, Media Matters, Arianna Huffington and Huffington Post, MSNBC, CNN, Newseek, and Time magazine.

It is very easy to connect the dots. Arianna Huffington oversaw George Soros Shadow government convention back in 2004. Huffington and Soros have appeared on the same Charlie Rose television show, each promoting their own book. Soros probably bought an hour episode of the Rose Show and gave half of the time to Arianna Huffington. I recall reading that Soros was an initital funder of the Huffington Post, and this is where it gets really really ugly.

Huffington Post supplies both CNN and MSNBC with media Pundits who have drank from the George Soros Kool Aid. CNN, MSNBC, Time and Newsweek all share each others hosts and pundits. They are all on the same team. I have documented in this very blog Jonathan Alter, a senior higher up at Newsweek, and Keith Olbermann conducting a 4 minute barrage against John McCain when all McCain had done was very eloquently point out how Hillary Clinton had been treated horribly by the media. Jonathan Alter link.

Lets Be Careful about linking to George Soros backed blogs or websites.
